What We Make

Dakonte Product Group manufactures vinyl document holders, sign holders, menu covers, and related products at our Milwaukee facility. Our products are used in industrial, commercial, food service, retail, healthcare, and institutional settings.

Manufacturing work includes industrial sewing, CNC cutting, material handling, assembly, packaging, order fulfillment, and shipping. Some products move through several production steps before they are packed and shipped.

Employees may work in more than one production area. Training is available for employees who are learning new equipment or processes, including entry-level employees with no prior industrial sewing experience.

Our production and fulfillment work is performed onsite in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

Typical Positions

Our products move through production steps involving a variety of positions.

Industrial Sewing Operator

Industrial sewing operators produce sewn vinyl products using commercial sewing equipment. Positions may be suitable for experienced sewing operators or entry-level employees with no prior industrial sewing experience. Training is provided for employees learning our materials, equipment, and production methods.

CNC Cutting Equipment Operator

CNC cutting equipment operators use computerized cutting equipment to cut vinyl, plastic, board, and other materials used in production. Training is available for employees learning the equipment and production procedures.

Packaging / Production Support

Packaging and production support work includes preparing finished products for shipment, labeling, organizing materials, and assisting with general production tasks. Employees may work with several different product types during the workday.

Shipping

Shipping work includes preparing completed orders for shipment, creating and applying shipping labels, organizing outbound packages, and processing shipments for carrier pickup.

Pick & Pack / Order Fulfillment

Pick and pack employees select finished products for customer orders, verify quantities and product details, and prepare orders for packaging and shipment. This work requires accuracy and attention to order information.

Work Schedule

Full-time production employees generally work a four-day schedule, Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour shifts.

Fridays and weekends are normally not part of the regular production schedule.

All production, packaging, order fulfillment, and shipping work is performed onsite at our Milwaukee facility.

Training and Multi-Skill Work

Dakonte Product Group uses a structured training process for production employees. Training checklists are maintained for individual pieces of equipment and production processes to document training progress and demonstrated proficiency. The training process is designed to support employees with little or no prior manufacturing experience as they learn equipment, materials, and production methods.

Employees who are comfortable working with their hands and making physical products may be trained across multiple production tasks as they gain experience and proficiency.

Time Off, Benefits and Scheduling

Full-time employees become eligible for 40 hours of paid time off after one year of employment, subject to DPG’s PTO policy. Aflac supplemental insurance benefits are available to eligible employees after 90 days of employment. New employees who have not yet become eligible for paid time off may request unpaid time off, subject to scheduling requirements and company policy. DPG can also accommodate some flexible work schedules for students, caregivers, and employees with other scheduling needs. Flexible schedules depend on production and staffing requirements.
